The winery Azienda Agricola Marco Cincinelli is located in Capolona, in the Chianti Colli Aretini area, a few kilometers north of Arezzo.
Climbing up from the Tuscan city toward Casentino Valley, in the hills between the villages of Bibbiano, Botti and Cenina, at an altitude ranging from 200 to 350 meters, opens the wonderful natural amphitheatre in which the lands of the winery extend.
In the small village of Botti there is also the AGRITURISMO CINCINELLI where anyone who wants to cheer the spirit can do so by looking out the window and contemplating our vineyards!
Far from all urban and industrial settlements, the Azienda Cincinelli cultivates its own lands: the winery properties extend for about 50 hectares, of which 45 are vineyards and 4 are olive groves alternating with plots intended for planting and wooded areas.
The variety that dominates is definitely Sangiovese, which, thanks to the soils and the micro-climate present, expresses its characteristics at its best. In addition, by will and passion, the winery has also chosen to grow international varieties such as Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, but without forgetting the importance of keeping alive the genetic heritage of the region by growing Mammolo. Regarding the olive groves, following the excellent Tuscan style, the farm grows Frantoio, Leccino, Moraiolo and Pendolino varieties.
Although there are still some “historic” vineyards such as Botti’s, the winery has tried over time to renew its older vineyards with a view to ensuring a high quality of the material to be transformed.
Azienda Agricola Cincinelli has always cultivated its land organically and tries to ensure the best of the natural biodiversity present by alternating olive groves, woods and scrubland.
