The Calcinai vineyard is a small plot of Sangiovese and Merlot framed within the Estate; in fact, it is isolated from the rest of the vineyards and set on a southeast-facing slope. The exposure ensures proper ripening of the grapes, which, thanks to the presence of a stream in the valley bottom and the perimeter forest, is one of the most homogeneous on the Estate.
