Given the importance of the grape variety we have chosen to grow, this area could only be the one closest to our winery . Il Legato is a vineyard of about one hectare on which the winery, in 2015, decided to invest in planting a native Tuscan variety, Mammolo. The choice of the area is due to the characteristics of the soil that, unlike other plots, has a medium-deep profile, with considerable presence of rocky fragments that allow good soil drainage and are therefore excellent in rainy years, although the clay content ensures good water retention if exploited to the fullest through soil tillage. Slightly alkaline, well endowed with elements and able to give distinct hints of red fruit and maintain high acidity in wines to enable aging.
