Although the origin of the name is not well defined, this vineyard hosts on its soil rich in skeleton and limestone the Canaiolo, an indigenous Tuscan vine that, thanks to the high calcium content of the soil, has the opportunity to ripen skins rich in tannins and anthocyanins capable of creating wines of great structure and complexity.
